Setting Up Hospital Mandolin Family Gallery FAQ Contact Links

One of the many problems with the idea of restoring an old mandolin, is replacing missing parts, because in most cases, these parts are no longer made. It was for this reason that I started making replacement parts for my own restoration projects. Over the years I have also managed to find suppliers for most of the materials needed, if not some period style parts.

I have small quantities of some of this stuff, and commercial contacts for other bits, let me know if I can help, but no guarantees.

Tuners Bone Nut Blanks MOP Saddles Bridges
Fingerboards Struts   Hide Glue Shellac Flakes
Green rectangles have link to more detailed pages
Strings  Brass Bar Frets Screws Veneer Buttons
I don't sell them but I recommend GHS ultra Light bronze, or any other ultralight brand I have a small selection of new and old period buttons
