Neapolitan Bridge : inlaid de Meglio

    This is a hand-made replacement bridge in ebony and brass, inlaid with MOP, to fit old bowlback mandolins. It can also be fitted with a bone saddle if required. It was copied from an existing bridge on a de Meglio bowlback.

   It is 120mm long, 10-12mm tall before fitting, and 7-8mm wide at the base. The brass saddle is approximately 55mm long. It will suit required bridge heights of 3-8mm depending on the curvature of the top. String spread is 38-40mm.

   It will need to be fitted, but comes with a slightly curved foot, to begin fitting to the domed Neapolitan top. 

   String spread can be altered if requested.
