Neapolitan Bridge : ‘Silvestri’

    This is a hand-made replacement bridge in ebony or rosewood and bone, to fit old bowlback Neapolitan mandolins, and is based on an existing bridge on a Silvestri bowlback.

   It is 120mm long, 10-15mm tall before fitting, and 5-6mm wide.. It will suit required bridge heights of 4-12mm.

   It will need to be fitted, but comes with a slightly curved foot, to begin fitting to the domed Neapolitan top. 

   String slots can be cut if requested, but I will need to know required spread of strings and gauges to be used.
