Pietzo Compensated Mandolin Bridge :

    This is a hand-made replacement bridge in ebony or rosewood and bone for mandolins where a Pietzo bridge pick-up is to be fitted.

   It is 130mm long, 20-25mm tall before fitting, and 10mm wide, tapering to about 8mm at the top. The bone saddle is approximately 60-65mm long and 4mm wide, and is detachable. It will suit required bridge heights of 10-20mm. The bottom of the saddle slot is 4mm wide and completely flat. A small hole will need to be drilled thro bridge and soundboard to fit a Pietzo tuner, but the exact location is left to the the fitters decision. A good page on fitting can be found here...

   Bridge foot will need to be fitted, which can be achieved by sanding the foot, and fine tuned by lowering the saddle shelf.

   String slots can be cut or left, as requested, but I will need to know required spread of strings.
