5 StringBanjo Bridge : ‘John Grey Style’

    This is a hand-made replacement bridge in ebony or rosewood and brass, to fit old 5 string banjos, and is based on an existing bridge on a John Grey mandolin-banjo.

   It is 100mm long, 10-15mm tall before fitting, and 7-8mm wide. The brass saddle is approximately 50mm long. It will suit required bridge heights of 5-15mm.

   It will need to be fitted, which can be achieved by sanding the foot, and fine tuned by lowering the saddle shelf, or changing the saddle brass.

   String slots can be cut if requested, but I will need to know required spread of strings.
