Old named German dome-back mandolin

This is a good quality, German, dome-back mandolin, perhaps from the mid C20th. It is in excellent condition after restoration early last year. There is a makers label stamped on the top which says....

7709 (is stamped behind the head)

Hous der Musik, Terhoven (the retailer)

This instrument was originally restored for a collector early last year. The restoration has held up well, and I have only replaced a loose fret. It is being sold as the collector is 'down-sizing' his collection.

There is slight scuffing to the top, but otherwise it is fine.

It is strung with GHS light gauge strings, on a long scale of 346mm, and is playing well with a strong sound and excellent sustain.
